Free claim assessment
Tell us about your pension transfer. We'll produce an indicative redress estimate — not a guaranteed award. The regulator-grade calculation is performed later by the firm, FSCS or FOS under FCA DISP App 4 methodology. No commitment until you've seen the figures.
Pension claims have time limits. Read about time limits (opens in a new tab) — or just start your assessment and we'll check for you.

Before we start, let's check the clock
There are strict time limits on pension complaints. We need to understand your timeline before we can look at the rest of your case. This is a quick gate, not a full assessment. Read about time limits (opens in a new tab).
Two kinds of pension — which did you have?
A pension that pays you a guaranteed income for life, based on your salary and years of service. Common in NHS, Teachers, Local Government, Civil Service, Police, Armed Forces, and older company schemes.
A pot of money built up from contributions you and/or your employer paid in, invested over time. Common in modern workplace pensions, SIPPs, stakeholder pensions, and personal pensions.
Not sure which you had? Pick "I'm not sure" below and we'll help you work it out.
This affects what we ask next. You can change it later when you speak to us.
Month and year is fine — an honest best guess is enough.
Month and year is fine — the month the transfer advice (DB) or the advice/switch (DC) was given. Anchors the 6-year limb of DISP 2.8.2R and sets the right Financial Ombudsman award cap (£455,000 from 1 April 2019; £205,000 before).
For example: a pension statement, a letter, a news article, an adviser, a friend.
